The Stella jumpsuit

What fabric is the Stella made from, and will it shrink or fade?+

The Stella is 100% cotton drill, a tight, hard-wearing fabric. It has been machine-softened and prewashed, so it feels soft from the very first wear and any shrinkage has already happened. Like all coloured cotton, the shade will gently soften over the years, which is completely natural. To keep the colour at its richest, wash it cold and inside out with like colours, and dry it in the shade.

What size should I choose?+

The Stella comes in sizes 8 to 18 with a relaxed, true-to-size cut. If you are between sizes, most people size up for comfort, or size down for a more fitted look. Full measurements are in the size guide on every product page, and at madgegoods.com/pages/size-guide.

How do I wash and care for it?+

Cold gentle machine wash with like colours, inside out. Hang to dry in the shade, out of direct sun. Warm iron if needed. Skip the fabric softener and bleach.

It is short-sleeved, how do I style it for winter?+

Layer a long-sleeve tee, skivvy or thermal underneath, add a knit or denim jacket over the top, and finish with tights or thick socks and boots. The relaxed cut leaves plenty of room for layers.

Shipping

How much is shipping within Australia?+

Flat $15 for standard post, or $20 for express post, anywhere in Australia.

How long will my order take?+

Standard post is 3 to 10 business days and express is 1 to 3 business days, with longer times for regional areas. Orders are sent Monday to Friday.

Where is my tracking number?+

It is emailed to you as soon as your order is dispatched, along with your order confirmation.

My order has not arrived or seems lost+

Check your tracking link first. If it is past the expected delivery window, email hello@madgegoods.com with your order number and we will chase it up for you.

Do you ship internationally?+

Yes. Email hello@madgegoods.com for a quote. Orders go via Australia Post International Standard, around 7 or more business days, and any import duties or taxes are paid by you on arrival.

Returns and exchanges

How do I return or exchange?+

Email hello@madgegoods.com with your full name, order number and reason, and wait for return authorisation before posting your item back.

How long do I have?+

14 days from receiving an online order or an in-store purchase. Items need to be unworn, unwashed and have their original tags attached.

Can I return my online order to your Newtown store?+

Yes, you can return or exchange an online order in person at our Newtown store, 241 Australia Street, within the returns window. Just bring your order confirmation. Items bought from a stockist are a separate shop and need to go back to that stockist.

What do I get back?+

Change-of-mind returns receive store credit, valid for 12 months. Refunds are for faulty items only. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Can I return a sale item?+

Items discounted 25% or more, final sale pieces and pre-orders are not eligible for return.

I bought from a stockist, can I return to you?+

Stockist purchases need to go back to that stockist. We can only accept returns for orders placed at madgegoods.com.

Orders and payment

What payment methods do you accept?+

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. You can also pay with Afterpay at checkout to spread the cost.

Can I change or cancel my order?+

Email hello@madgegoods.com as soon as you can, with your order number. We can usually change details or fix a wrong address before your order is packed. Once it is sent we are not able to change it.

What if my Stella is faulty or the wrong item?+

Email hello@madgegoods.com with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out for you quickly.

My size is sold out, what now?+

More is usually on the way. Sign up on the product page for a back-in-stock alert, or email us and we will help.

Do you offer discounts or sales?+

Join Madge for 10% off your first order. We rarely discount the Stella otherwise. Now and then a colour is reduced when it is coming to an end, and we share the occasional offer with our subscribers.

Visit and stockists

Can I try the Stella on in person?+

Yes, come and visit our Newtown store at 241 Australia Street, usually open Friday to Sunday. Email ahead before a special trip, as a small business we sometimes take a day off.

Do you offer wholesale?+

Do you do uniform or team orders?+

Yes. The Stella makes a great creative uniform for studios, cafes, florists and teams. Because details like your chosen colour and our bespoke zips, dyed to match the fabric, affect both pricing and timeline, we plan each team order together. The minimum is 50 per colour, with 50% paid upfront, and pricing is tailored to your order. Email hello@madgegoods.com and we will talk through colours, quantities, pricing and turnaround.
