MADGE & PEPPERMINT

MADGE & PEPPERMINT

MADGE & PEPPERMINT

It has been a bit of a Peppermint month for Madge... We had our first ever feature in print, attended a workshop and an event.

First came the generous limelight feature in the amazing Peppermint Magazine #34 Winter 2017. So over the moon and grateful to grace the page of a well respected magazine like this. When I first begun on this journey I knew we really never fitted into high glossy fashion and wondered where we would sit, and how we could get the message out to the right audience about our brand. And today I feel joy that we found and connected with this engaged audience via the pages of Peppermint Mag.

Spent last Wednesday afternoon in the lovely female company chatting & sipping tea at an intimate workshop held by  Peppermint Editor-in-chief Kelley Sheenan and Editor Rebecca Jamieson Dwyer. I got to ask some itching questions that will assist me to confidently talk about Madge Goods with the rest of the world.

Then last Thursday evening I visited the Nest Creative Space to hear 3 inspiring women at the PepTalk. The 3 speakers were, Laura Wells: presenter, model, environmentalist and positive body image advocate, Jacqui Lewis: founder and meditation teacher at The Broad Place and my favourite was Samorn Sanixay who runs Eastern Weft, a sustainable textile company whose focus is on the Laos textile crafts (of course!).
